In various places on Convergence, we collect "Personally Identifiable Information," such as your name, age, e-mail address, or other information that can be used to contact you or identify you as an individual. For example, we collect this information when you register for membership or whenever you alter this information after initial registration. This information is generally viewed in aggregate along with every other user of the Site, but we may from time-to-time link this information to your account if we have reason to believe you are violating one or more policies in our Terms of Service or if your account requires advanced support.
Like many Internet sites, we also use "cookies" to collect information. A cookie is a small data file that we transfer to your computer and is stored on your hard drive. When you visit Convergence, the cookie identifies your information to us so that you don't have to sign in repeatedly throughout the site. Cookies are also used by Google Analytics to anonymously monitor your user experience and report views of advertising.
We do not intend that children will use our sites. We do not solicit or knowingly collect information from children under 13 years old, nor will we accept registration from them.
